AFNORTH International School Graduation Ceremony

Jun 19, 2017
Brunssum, Netherlands – On Friday 16 June the AFNORTH International School (AIS) academic year came to its end allowing the annual Canadian and U.S. Graduation Ceremony to be conducted.

In the presence of the Principals of the Canadian, German and U.S. sections of AIS, alongside the Commander of the German Support Delegation to JFC Brunssum and the Head of the School itself, the two-hour ceremony was conducted in the headquarters’ Alliance Theatre.

A Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) cadets’ presentation of colours opened the ceremony whilst the National Anthems of the Netherlands, Canada, Germany and the United States of America were performed by students.  This paved the way for an unforgettable evening for all attendees as they observed the presentation of each individual diploma to all students finishing their courses.

The graduates, drawn from nine different nations, attended either the Canadian Section finishing with the Ontario Diploma or the American High School finishing with the U.S. High School diploma.  This enables the students to enrol in colleges or universities as well as in professional education courses all around the world.
