Sep 5, 2017
Brunssum, Netherlands – The Danish Armed Forces Flag Day was celebrated at JFC Brunssum’s International Conference Centre today.

In his remarks, Colonel Lasse Christiansen explained the day was introduced in 2009 to thank Denmark’s Armed Forces for their service and pay tribute to those serving abroad and on missions.  The Danish Armed Forces Flag Day is a mark of respect for the work of the Danish Armed Forces and, in particular, provides a platform for the nation to honour those who have made great sacrifice.

A selection of Danish food and drink was provided to a multinational guest list.
