Joint Force Command Brunssum, in the spirit of mutually beneficial cooperation, organised and conducted a NATO Training Team Visit to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, 16-19 November.
45 First Grade students (Lieutenant to Lieutenant Colonel) and five instructors from the Academy of the Armed Forces of Republic of Uzbekistan attended the event. Topics briefed included: the JFC HQ Structure; NATO Response Force; and Exercise Trident Juncture 15. Follow-on discussions centred on the essence of the Operational Planning Process, Counter Insurgency, Information Operations, Psychological Operations and the challenge of Cyber Security.
JFC Brunssum looks forward to conducting similar training events with Uzbekistan and other partner nations in the future.
