18 Nov 2015
From 16 to 25 Nov 15, JFC Brunssum is conducting Key Leader Training for 25 personnel soon to assume leadership positions in NATO’s Resolute Support (RS) mission in Afghanistan. Key Leader Training is a biannual event organised by JFC Brunnsum aimed at providing military and civilian personnel who will deploying to key positions in the RS mission, current strategic, geo-strategic and operational overviews.
The 25 personnel, from 12 Nations, ranging from Lieutenant Colonel to Brigadier General, were hosted by Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, in Mons, and JFC Brunssum, prior to undertaking in-theatre orientation at the RS main HQs in Kabul.
Key Leader Training provides an invaluable opportunity for individuals to receive high-level situational awareness prior to deployment, establish cohesion amongst peers, and delineate roles and responsibilities within the RS senior leadership.
