General Hans-Lothar Domröse addressed his staff

On the 4th of December, the
Commander Joint Force Command (JFC) Brunssum, General Hans-Lothar
Domröse, addressed his staff and awarded 19 Commendations before the
Christmas break period starts to begin.
The Commander took this opportunity to summarize the passed-by
year, to give an outlook to upcoming challenges in 2015 and introducing
the newcomers in JFC Brunssum with the spirit of that special
He reminded everybody to live the values of Brunssum "responsiveness,
relevance and reputation” and to adjust everybody’s mind-set to think
joint and be prepared and ready to be deployed where ever needed.
After 2014 had shown increasing and mostly unpredictable challenges
which NATO has to face, General Domröse underlined NATO’s commitment to
collective defence. "We will protect our people; here are standing 28
nations to vouch for each other!”, he said.
Before awarding the well-deserved commendations to dedicated staff
members he stressed that he relies and trust his staff. He believes that
JFC Brunssum Headquarter is more than capable to deal with all the
challenges on the way to Trident Juncture 15 that will be next year’s
climax and overcome whatever mission that could come in addition.
