Celebrating Women's Equality Day: United for Inclusion

Brunssum, The Netherlands – The JFC Brunssum community proudly celebrated Women's Equality Day, an event hosted by Joint Logistic Support Group Brunssum, on Monday, 26^th August, 2024.

Participants in the event underlined JFC Brunssum’s dedication to creating an inclusive environment where every voice is heard, valued, and empowered. Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to listen to lectures delivered by a series of guest speakers, and to discuss their own observations. Lecturers emphasised the importance of promoting an inclusive environment, which drives progress toward a more equitable future.

Women's Equality Day honours the historic passage of the 19th Amendment in the United States Constitution on 4^th June, 1919. It pays homage to the tireless efforts of countless women and men who have fought for equality in the past, and those who will continue the fight in the years to come.
