Brunssum, the Netherlands - On 21 February one of JFC Brunssum’s staff officers, Colonel Ivo Murmanis, visited the AFNORTH International School to deliver an inspirational talk as part of the school’s International Leadership Seminar Programme.

 

Colonel Murmanis talked about his life experience and sought to inspire students to overcome significant challenges. He went on to provide tips on how to build a successful career. During this interactive discussion there was opportunity for students to understand the most important spheres of life and to gain insight into how to leverage the skills one is born with so as to achieve demanding goals.

 

The seminar is one of 7 planned to be conducted in the school year 2018/19 provided by staff working at JFC Brunssum.  Commander JFC Brunssum, General Marchiò, kick-started the programme last September; he was followed by Wing Commander Toby Sawbridge, Mr. Andrew Rogers, and Captain Linda Schrader.

 

The next seminar is planned to be given by Lieutenant Colonel Marco Schmidl on 19th March.
