BRUNSSUM, the Netherlands – On 25^th May 2022, General Jörg Vollmer, Commander of Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS), recognised the outstanding achievements of selected staff members with a Commander's Commendation.

The nominees received the Commendations as recognition of their exceptional service beyond the normal demands of duty, or for outstanding and meritorious discharge of a particular task, which made a significant contribution to the successful achievement of JFCBS operations and tasks.

Prior to handing out the awards, General Vollmer took the opportunity to pay tribute to all staff of JFC Brunssum and thanked them for their hard work under his command.

The dedication not only of those awarded a Commendation, but by staff across the whole Headquarters, is evidence of an enduring commitment to Brunssum's mission, and a shared desire to preserve the peace and security of the NATO Alliance.
