JFC Brunssum 50^th Anniversary Photo Contest

Together with the city of Brunssum, our headquarters is conducting a photo contest as part of our 50th Anniversary celebration on 31 May. Photos submitted should depict the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the people of Brunssum and/or Limburg and the NATO personnel of Joint Force Command Brunssum or illustrate the positive impact of the headquarters on the working and living conditions in Limburg.

Photos will be accepted until close of business 10 May 2017. A panel of judges drawn from the city of Brunssum and NATO will assess the entries. The winning entries (top three) will receive an invitation to the anniversary celebration on 31 May and the winning pictures, along with a selection from all the photos submitted, will be displayed in a photo exhibition at the Brikke Oave in Brunssum.

Contest Rules:

- Pictures must be about the topic of the presence of NATO in Brunssum and/or Limburg

- Pictures can be historical or contemporary

- Maximum of 3 photos per person

- Pictures must include: Name of contributor, name of photographer, year which the picture was taken and short description of the photo contents

Technical details:

Pictures must be good quality with regards to brightness and contrast (some loss of quality for historical photos will be accepted)
Pictures must be free from copyright and available for possible use by the city of Brunssum and NATO for activity related to the 50th Anniversary celebration
Pictures must be sent in digital format to 50jaarnavo@brunssum.nl
File size must be 3 MB minimum and 300 dpi

So check your digital photos and pull out those old photo albums, perhaps you have a winner! Good luck.
