Limburg Communications Network Visit JFC Brunssum
Colonel Martin Klein, Chief Public Affairs Officer at JFC Brunssum, was delighted to host the Limburg Communications Network (LCN) as they visited the HQs' International Conference Centre to gain insight of NATO communications processes, aims and current activities. The circa 35 members of LCN received briefings on the role and responsibilities of the HQs, the importance of Strategic Communications guidance/coordination, the scale of Public Affairs engagement in the 2015 high visibility exercise Trident Juncture and the way in which NATO is leveraging advances in digital communications technology.
Many thanks to Mr Ed Freiser, a former JFC Brunssum Public Affairs Officer himself, for playing a pivotal role in organizing this event and to Colonel David Dinger, the HQs' Strategic Communications Advisor, for his invaluable support.
The event concluded with a lively Question and Answer session that was of mutual benefit to all.
