Opening Military Meeting Point at JFC Brunssum

Brunssum, the Netherlands - Lieutenant General Juan Campins (Deputy Commander JFC Brunssum), Major General Carl Alex (Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations)) and Brigadier General Henny Bouman (Assistant Chief of Staff (Logistics)), were amongst almost one hundred veterans, soldiers and supporters who gathered to congratulate the Brunssum Veterans Associations on the opening of a Military Meeting Point (MMP), at JFC Brunssum’s International Conference Centre, 11 July.

During the official opening one of the speeches was delivered Colonel Edwin Altena, Commander of the JFC Brunssum Base Support Group, who underlined the close cooperation that exists between JFC Brunssum and veterans living in Brunssum.

Note: The MMP will open once every two weeks and, it is hoped, will become a place where veterans of all nationalities will be able to meet to share their experiences.
