The German Delegation Summer Festival took place at the JFCBS Sports Field

Brunssum, the Netherlands - The annual German Delegation Summer Festival took place at the JFCBS Sports Field - ‘The Slag Heap’ – 20 June, marking the end of the school year and start of the German summer rotation.  Minimizing the formal part to a minimum the focus was on enjoying leisure time together with all members of the German Delegation to JFCBS (including its various outstations) and the German Section AFNORTH International School.  Together with spouses and families the soldiers, sailors, airmen and teachers enjoyed the summer weather and activities for and with the younger children.


The event included a DIY Barbeque and lasted till the early evening hours.  As the serial ended there was one mutual understanding amongst the participants: It is definitely worth to spend more time together and everyone is looking forward to the next community event.
