HQ JFC Brunssum Outreach

Military Partnership contribute to increase international stability and security through co-operative engagement with non-NATO states and their forces existing and planned NATO partnership programme by establishing direct operational and technical connectivity with partners.

As one of the main tasks of Headquarters Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, it is aimed to broaden and strengthen the Alliance by establishing enduring relationships and cooperation mechanism with Partner Nations.

In this context, the JFC Brunssum Military Partnership Branch is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating NATO cooperation and partnership programmes to best support the achievements of the Alliance’s agreed level of ambition; while simultaneously contributing to the JFC HQ Brunssum operational requirements. Among other responsibilities, this includes:

· the achievement of the Military Objectives and Partnership Goals through the development of Roadmaps based on the Country Specific Plans developed by the Bi-SC Military Partnership Directorate;

· the coordination of partners participation in NATO-led exercises and operations;

· the implementation of the Operational Capabilities Concept Evaluation and Feedback Programme (OCC E&F);

· the support of aspiring Partner Nations within the Membership Action Plan framework.

In order to provide continuity and establish qualified and enduring relationships, a detailed area of engagement has been assigned to JFC Brunssum. This comprises the following Partnership for Peace (PfP) countries (Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) and one Partner across the Globe (PatG) country (Afghanistan).
