Partnership for Peace Staff Elements within HQ JFC BRUNSSUM

Partnership for Peace Staff Elements (PSE) were established at selected NATO HQs under the authority of the agreement of NATO’s Foreign and Defence Ministers during their meeting in the Spring of 1997. The aim of the decision was to involve Partners more closely, more directly and on a more regular basis in PfP related activities with NATO. Currently, partner personnel from Sweden, Finland, Ukraine and Azerbaijan fill posts at JFC Brunssum in a variety of roles supporting the headquarters and gaining valuable experience with NATO to bring back to their nation upon completion of their tours of duty.
