The Danish Armed Forces Flag Day was celebrated at JFC Brunssum’s International Conference Centre yesterday.

 

In his remarks, Lieutenant Colonel Jens Lindvig explained the day was introduced to thank Denmark’s Armed Forces for their service and pay tribute to those serving abroad and on missions.  The Armed Forces Flag Day is a mark of respect for the work of the Danish Armed Forces and, in particular, provides a platform for the nation to honour those who have made great sacrifice.  In his response, General Farina (Commander JFC Brunssum) thanked the Danish Armed Forces for their invaluable sustained and ongoing contribution to NATO and their outstanding hospitality.
