JFC Brunssum Signs Working Agreement


A Memorandum of Working Agreement between Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCB), the NATO Airborne Early Warning & Control Programme Management Agency , the NATO Communication and Information Agency Brunssum Detachment and the Foundation AFNORTH International School was signed at Stein’s City Hall the 17th of June 2016.
 
This document formalizes the coordination and support of emergency services.  It serves to reinforce the close cooperation between JFCB and regional stakeholders for all services in South Limburg.
 
The signature ceremony was attended by the Governor of South Limburg, Mr Theo Bovens, and 18 Mayors of the region including Mr Luc Winants, Mayor of Brunssum.  On behalf of Lieutenant General Janusz Adamczak, JFCB Chief of Staff, Major General Scott Smith presented the memorandum to Mrs J M Penn–te Strake, Chairperson of the Security Region South Limburg, in order to gain her signature.
 
The ceremony further underlined and enhanced the strong links between NATO entities in the region and their hosting municipalities.
