JFCBS hosts EU Seminar

Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS) hosted 25 members of the the annual European Seminar organized by the German Ministry of Defense aiming to provide a deeper insight into the workings of institutions such as the EU and NATO. The visit to JFCBS has become a fixed appointment in the annual calendar of Headquarters Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum and was part of a weeklong scheduled group tour to NATO and EU establishments in Germany, Netherlands and Belgium.

Welcomed by Lieutenant General Fernando Alejandre, Deputy Commander JFCBS, the group later on received briefings from key staff members about the roles and responsibilities of the headquarters. NATO’s Resolute Support mission in Afghanistan, its Assurance Measures in Eastern Europe and the results from the NATO Summit in Warsaw this summer were the topics beeing briefed and provided the group with much food for thought and discussion ahead of the closing event, the "vin d’honneur”.
