JFC Brunssum Conducts Training in Uzbekistan.

Joint Force Command Brunssum, in the spirit of mutually beneficial cooperation, organised and conducted an Operational Planning Process Training in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 16-20 May which was the 1st visit of a triplet in 2016. 2nd grade students and instructors from the Academy of the Armed Forces of Republic of Uzbekistan, ranging from Lieutenant to Colonel from all services, attended the training. The objective of this training is to make NATO partner officers familiar to Operational Planning Process in NATO Crisis Response Operations and provide valuable information on NATO decision making network and procedures.

Rosaria PUGLISI, Head of NATO Liaison Office (NLO) for Central Asia located in Tashkent, supported this activity as guest briefer. She informed Uzbek officers about the activities of NLO and the relations of NATO-Uzbekistan and NATO-Central Asian Countries with a political perspective.
