NATO Financial Controllers Meet at JFC Brunssum

From 11-13 May JFC Brunssum hosted the annual ACO Spring Financial Controllers Conference. Besides standard agenda items such as updates on Budget Execution, Financial Reports, Internal Audits and Long Term Resource Planning, the Financial Controllers from SHAPE, both Joint Force Commands, the Component Commands, NAEW and NCISG discussed the impact of the revised NATO Financial Regulations and associated Financial Rules and Procedures.

A newly implemented mandatory focus on risk management and the establishment of an Internal Control Framework were topics that generated extensive debate.
