Chief of Italian Chaplains Visits JFC Brunssum


Brunssum, Netherlands – On Thursday 19 January the Italian Chief of Chaplains, Archbishop Santo Marciano’, visited the Headquarters.  Following an office call with the Commander JFC Brunssum, General Salvatore Farina, he met with the Italian delegation and representatives of the NATO Airborne Early Warning and Control Force Command’s E-3A Component (NAEW&CF E3-A Component) at Geilenkirchen (Germany)  and the European Air Transport Command (EATC) based at  Eindhoven (Netherlands), during his first trip to the Netherlands in this position.
 
The Archbishop celebrated Holy Mass for the Italian personnel and their families at the East Chapel.
 
His Excellency Marciano’, during his address to the Italian delegation, emphasized the importance of dialogue and cooperation efforts made by NATO in these ever changing times, as well as the unique capability of the Alliance to pragmatically encourage member states to work together creating fruitful synergies.
