Swedish Ambassador to NATO and Chief of Swedish Joint Command Visit JFC Brunssum

Brunssum, Netherlands - On June 9th the Swedish Ambassador to NATO, the Honorable Hakan Malmqvist, and Vice Admiral Jan Thornqvist, Chief of the Swedish Joint Command, visited Headquarters Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS).
Commander JFCBS, General Salvatore Farina, inaugurated a busy programme for his guests by welcoming them and expressing his appreciation of the Swedish contribution to NATO’s Resolute Support mission, in Afghanistan.
Mr. Hakan Malmqvist expressed Sweden’s determination to maintain and further develop Swedish Partnership activities with NATO.

Both parties agreed on the importance of regular meetings that promote information exchange and the sustainment of a transparent relationship.
