TV Interviews Promote 50th Anniversary of JFC Brunssum

Brunssum, Netherlands - On Friday 26 May General Salvatore Farina (Commander JFC Brunssum), Mr Luc Winants (Mayor Brunssum), Colonel Edwin Altena (Commander Base Support Group JFC Brunssum) and Mr Raf Ruiters (Head of Civilian Personnel at JFC Brunssum) were guests at the regional Limburg 1 TV Talk Show, "Avond Gasten”.

In discussion of the 50th anniversary of a NATO Headquarters being hosted by the city of Brunssum under the lead of the well-known TV host, Sander Kleikers, interviewees provided an insight into the day-to-day business conducted at the Headquarters from the past to the present.

The Talk Show is but one of numerous milestones leading to the co-hosted festivities planned for the 31st May, where the municipality of Brunssum and the Joint Force Command celebrate their anniversary with a formal parade, the unveiling of a NATO-monument and a family-centred event with many attractions open to the public.

The day will be a very special one, both for NATO and the city of Brunssum.
