JFC Brunssum conducts NATO Operations Planning Process Introduction in Georgia

Brunssum, the Netherlands – A team of personnel drawn from JFC Brunssum’s Military Partnership Branch and Planning Division conducted an Exert Team Vsit (ETV) to the Georgian Armed Forces General Staff in Tblisi, between 17 – 23 June; the purpose of which was to introduce participants to NATO’s Operation Planning Process (OPP).

Georgia is one of many dedicated Partners of NATO and, this year, JFC Brunssum will conduct four Military Outreach and Engagement activities in that country. This serial was planned, prepared and executed by the JFC Brunssum Military Partnership Branch in cooperation with the Georgian Armed Forces General Staff and is a component of the Partnership Cooperation Menu agreed between NATO and Georgia for 2018.

The delegation conducted lectures covering the phases that comprise the NATO Operations Planning Process. A varied curriculum included classroom discussions, syndicate work and presentations for the benefit of 26 officers and civilians from the Georgian Armed Forces.
