Brunssum, the Netherlands  – Today, Lieutenant General Andreas Marlow, Chief of Staff of NATO’s Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan, visited Headquarters JFC Brunssum to meet with the chain of command and conduct discussions on various topics of interest regarding the mission. LGEN Marlow provided a brief the day before at the Global Force Generation and Manpower Conference held at SHAPE, and took the opportunity while in theatre to share insights with the RS out of theatre headquarters.

After meeting with COM JFC Brunssum, GEN Buehler, and DCOM JFC Brunssum, LGEN Skeates, LGEN Marlow participated in a round table discussion with the Afghan Focus Group and representatives of JFC Brunssum’s directorates.  Discussion topics included JFC Brunssum’s support for various infrastructure projects, potential CJSOR and CE optimization, and support for RS’ pre-deployment training.  The discussion was beneficial for all participants, and LGEN Marlow finished by extending his thanks to JFC Brunssum for its support of NATO’s mission in Afghanistan.
