Commander JFC Brunssum visited Finland

Brunssum, the Netherlands -  The Commander of NATO’s Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, General Erhard Bühler, visited Finland on 22- 24 October 2019. During his visit General Bühler met with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Mr. Jukka Juusti, the Chief of Defence, General Timo Kivinen and the senior leadership of the Finnish Defence Forces in the Defence Command. 

Thank you for being a ‘prime’ partner to NATO

He was briefed on Finland’s military national defence and about the cooperation between Finland and NATO. General Bühler said, “thank you for being a ‘prime’ partner to NATO, as Finland is of strategic importance for the Alliance”. During his time in Finland, he also visited the Guard Jaeger Regiment as part of the Finland readiness unit.
