General Bühler Visits Kabul

Brunssum, the Netherlands – From 19 to 22 November General Erhard Bühler, Commander Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS), conducted a situational awareness trip to NATO’s Resolute Support (RS) mission in Afghanistan.

General Bühler specifically focused on the following issues:

1. The perspectives of Afghan Government officials and RS leadership on the development status of the Afghan National Defence and Security Forces;

2. The ongoing peace process;

3. Ways in which JFCBS might further support the RS HQs.

The visit culminated with a dinner hosted by the Minister of Defence, Mr. Asadullah Khalid.
