German Armed Forces Logistics School visits JFCBS

Brunssum, the Netherlands – Thursday 22 August JFC Brunssum (JFCBS) was pleased to host a group of visitors from the German Armed Forces Logistics School in Garlstedt, Germany. The group consisted of active duty military personnel from the German Bundeswehr specialized in multinational logistics who were very much interested in learning more about NATO’s adaption and the role and responsibilities of JFCBS, in particular with a logistic focus.

Amongst others, topics briefed included: The Resolute Support Mission (RSM) in Afghanistan, the enhanced Forward Presence Battlegroups in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, NATO's successful adaptation to a changing security environment, NATO’s Military Partnership Programmes, the stand-up of the Joint Logistic Support Group (JLSG) and the role of JFC Brunssum within the NATO Command Structure.
