Brunssum, the Netherlands – The Commander Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, General Erhard Bühler, visited the Spanish High Readiness Force Maritime Headquarters, known as SPMARFOR, 21 October.

During the visit the SPMARFOR Commander, Vice Admiral Antonio Martorell Lacave, explained the mission and structure of his unit and outlined its NRF-20 role and responsibilities. 

General Erhard Bühler also visited SPMARFOR sailors on board Flagship CASTILLA to congratulate them on a job well done during Exercise DYNAMIC MARINER. During his address he also expressed his appreciation to the SPMARFOR Commander for his achievement of being selected as the NRF2020 Maritime Force Commander.
