JFC Brunssum Conducts NCO Leadership Training in Armenia

Brunssum, the Netherlands - From 20 to 24 May a team from JFC Brunssum (JFCBS) conducted a Joint Mobile Training Team (JMTT) in Yerevan, Armenia, on the subject of NCO Leadership in NATO.

Over three days the team, comprising Lieutenant Commander Michelle Ward and Master Warrant Officer Peter Dunwoody (both from the HQs’ Military Partnership Branch), Warrant Officer Piotr Bartniak (Lessons Learned Branch) and Master Sergeant Fabian Boettcher and Sergeant Nikki Gander (both from the HQs’ Information Knowledge Management Branch), provided a variety of briefings to an audience of approximately 30 NCOs from the Armenian Armed Forces.  Topics briefed included Team Building, Effective Delegation, and Cultural Awareness.

The Armenian audience demonstrated a strong knowledge of NATO and its methods, and posed some challenging questions to the JFCBS team.  This was the second of four similar training events planned by JFCBS in Armenia this year.
