JFC Brunssum conducts Training in Armenia


From 30 April to 02 May 2019, a team from JFC Brunssum (JFCBS) conducted an Expert Team Visit (ETV) to the Military Police Headquarters in Yerevan, Armenia, on the subject of Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) in NATO. 
 
The delegation conducted a series of briefings that included:
  • NATO Command and Force Structures; current Alliance missions and operations;
  • NATO CIMIC overview; the three CIMIC core functions in NATO;
  • NATO CIMIC working with civilian actors and translators; cross-cutting topics.  
 
The programme included classroom discussions and syndicate work, based on a CIMIC scenario, for the benefit of the 15 officers, NCOs and privates from the Armenian Military Police.
