Brunssum, the Netherlands – Wednesday 30th October, Headquarters JFC Brunssum (JFCBS) welcomed 25 members of the Karl-Arnold-Foundation.
This German organization is named after Karl Arnold, first president of the Federal Council of Germany and one of the founding fathers of the German system of workers union in the steel and coal industries. The association mainly involves military personnel with a strong interest in politics and eager to learn more about international organizations.
Therefore, following a visit to NATO Headquarters in
Brussels (Belgium), the group got the unique opportunity to attend briefings
regarding the Alliance’s operational level at JFC Brunssum. Amongst other
things, they were able to get a glimpse of NATO’s command structure, its
missions, future challenges and finally engage personally during a Q&A
session.
