Partner Military Representatives Visit JFC Brunssum

Brunssum, the Netherlands – JFC Brunssum (JFCBS) welcomed a group of Partner Military Representatives (PNMRs) and, their SHAPE escorts, for a 2-day seminar 17/18 September. The aim of the visit was to provide information to increase their knowledge and understanding of JFCBS’ role and mission, tasks, and structures, and provide greater clarity on how we interact with our partners.

Amongst others, topics briefed included JFCBS’ mission, the Resolute Support mission in Afghanistan, preparations for Exercise Trident Jupiter 19, opportunities for partner involvement in NATO exercises, Civil-Military Interaction, Partner Staff Post opportunities, the Operational Capabilities Concept and developments in Joint Logistics. As part of the program members of the JFCBS staff engaged with the visitors who were also afforded the opportunity to pose questions to the Deputy Commander, Lieutenant General Stuart Skeates.
