Turkish Military Representative Visits JFC Brunssum
Brunssum, the Netherlands – Today, Tuesday 21st January, The Military Representative of Turkey to NATO, Lieutenant General İsmail Üner, made his first visit to Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS) since assuming his position in August 2019.
General Üner was hosted by JFCBS Commander General Bühler and was briefed on JFC Brunssum current and future missions, tasks and activities. General Bühler and General Üner then had a round-table discussion on various topics with regard to Resolute Support Mission overview, future planning and Turkey’s contribution to RSM as a framework nation, common planning efforts, Joint Level Implications of Deterrence and Defence of the Euro-Atlantic Area, NATO Warfighting Capstone Concept and NATO Command Structure Adaptation.
Lieutenant General Üner also met with members of the Turkish delegation serving at JFCBS and received briefings underlining the Turkish contribution to JFC Brunssum.
