Generals engaging online: Close Coordination from Appropriate Distance

After taking over as new commander JFC Brunssum, General Jörg Vollmer for the first time reported to the Supreme Allied Commander Europa, General Tod D. Wolters, via video-transmitted conference on April 23rd.

The two leaders discussed the current challenges and emphasized the need to remain operational as well as sustainable. They agreed to stay focused on JFCBS’ three major task, i.e. supporting NATOs RESOLUTE SUPPORT mission in Afghanistan, providing deterrence and defence on NATOs north-eastern flank and maintain readiness of NATOs response force NRF.
