Rapid COVID Testing For Essential Personnel

Brunssum, The Netherlands – Today at Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS), COVID testing of essential personnel took place for the first time. During the next week around 100 personnel will be tested. With the Christmas period approaching these staff members will continue to work within the headquarters, ensuring an enduring operability over the holidays.

The antigen test being used gives accurate results in around 15 minutes and takes about 1 minute to complete. Commander JFCBS General Jörg Vollmer, visited the testing area to speak with those conducting the tests and those being tested. General Vollmer stated :

Our personnel are vital to our ability to continue operating during these challenging times. Protecting the force remains one of my top priorities. This rapid testing ability displays our flexibility and enhances the measures we are already taking to protect our people.
