Co-operation Between Headquarters Solidified

Brunssum, The Netherlands – On Tuesday 9th March, a Note of Mutual Understanding (NMU) between Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS) and the Joint Logistics Support Group Brunssum (JLSGBS) was signed.  This marks another significant step towards JLSGBS reaching Initial Operating Capability.  The NMU formalises the support arrangements between the two International Military Headquarters.

Symbolically, it was signed by the Commander JLSGBS, Brigadier General Jaroslav Schön and the Chief of Staff JFCBS, Lieutenant General Krzysztof Król on the sky-bridge between the two Headquarters buildings. They were accompanied by Lieutenant Commander Ilse Desmet and Mr Karoly Vegh from the respective legal departments who drafted the NMU. This location was chosen to represent the close relationship between the two separate but very much linked organisations.
