Based in Szczecin, Poland, MNC(NE) is, amongst other things, the High-Readiness Force Headquarters in command of NATO's enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) Battlegroups in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. It serves as a persistently present, regionally focused headquarters ready and stand-by to take the lead of Allied operations across the north-eastern flank of NATO as a Land Component Command. JFCBS is its higher headquarters in the NATO Military Command Structure.
