LEAD SENIOR MENTOR VISITS COMMANDER JFCBS

Brunssum, The Netherlands – 12 January. The lead Senior Mentor General (retired) Sir James Everard (GBR) visited General Jörg Vollmer (DEU), Commander Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS). During the visit, they discussed how senior mentors could support NATO exercises, conferences, academics etc. for the upcoming period. _nato4

A senior mentor is a retired flag/general officer. NATO Headquarters invite their contributions on a regular basis to make use of their significant knowledge and experience.

In parallel, the Lieutenant Generals (retired) Jan Broeks (NLD) and Ben Hodges (USA) visited the Headquarters Joint Logistic Support Group Brunssum (HQ JLSGBS). They also used the opportunity to have a conversation with Commander JFCBS.
