Feb 4 2022

Brunssum, The Netherlands – On Wednesday, 2nd February, Commander Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS), General Jörg Vollmer, welcomed the General Manager of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), Ms Stacy Cummings, for a visit.

Taking over the role in September 2021, Ms Cummings arrived at the NSPA following a series of senior Acquisition roles within the United States Department of Defense, including most recently as Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment.

Headquartered in Luxembourg, NSPA is a NATO organization that brings together acquisition, logistics, medical and infrastructural services, and operational and systems support. These services are then made available to NATO nations, NATO Military Authorities and Partner Nations. The Agency's mission is to provide effective and cost-efficient multinational solutions to 30 nations of the NATO Alliance and Partners.

General Vollmer met with Ms Cummings to introduce her to the workings of JFC Brunssum. They discussed and gained deeper insight into the roles of JFCBS and NSPA, and the ways in which both organisations cooperate with one another.
