Brunssum, The Netherlands – On 24^th November, Commander JFC Brunssum (JFCBS), General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, hosted a visit of the Turkish Military Representative to NATO, Lieutenant General Göksel Kahya.

During the visit, the Generals discussed various topics including Türkiye’s contributions to JFCBS and NATO as whole. In this regard, General Miglietta underlined that how,

in addition to the role Türkiye has played in defending NATO's borders, today it is a significant contributor to NATO missions and operations, in line with the fundamental values of the Alliance.

General Miglietta expressed his appreciation and thanks to Lieutenant General Kahya, highlighting that JFCBS is one of the many headquarters to which Türkiye has made a noteworthy contribution.

Speaking during the visit, General Miglietta said, “For the past few months here in Brunssum, I have closely observed the professionalism displayed by Turkish Officers and NCOs. This professionalism combines with the unity and spirit of solidarity that constitute the bedrock of NATO. I greatly appreciate the contribution of our Turkish colleagues to both this HQ and to NATO in general.”

During his visit, Lieutenant General Kahya also took the opportunity to meet with Turkish personnel at JFBCS and thank them for their efforts and contribution to the headquarters.
