JFC Brunssum Hosts Polish Parliamentary National Defence Committee

Brunssum, The Netherlands – Lieutenant General Krzysztof Król, Headquarters Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFC Brunssum) Chief of Staff, hosted a delegation from Poland’s Parliamentary National Defence Committee, 14th March, 2023.

Recent events have proven the importance of peace and security in NATO’s eastern region, where Poland plays a central role.

This delegation represents the highest body within the Polish Parliament, which oversees the Polish Armed Forces.

Initially welcomed by Lt Gen Król, the representatives received an assortment of briefings throughout their day at JFC Brunssum, including a discussion of NATO’s Military Concept, an update about the headquarters’ current plans, and a summary of JFC Brunssum’s Strategic Communication activities. The senior governmental leaders also had the opportunity for in-depth discussion of their own topics of interest, including the current situation in Ukraine.

“We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to provide information, exchange ideas, and hear the concerns of the National Defence Committee,” Lt Gen Król commented. “Recent events have proven the importance of peace and security in NATO’s eastern region, where Poland plays a central role. This is why it is a top priority for JFC Brunssum to continue developing our close relationship with the Polish authorities.”
