Keeping NATO's promise of security for all: General Miglietta visits BG Estonia.

Brunssum, The Netherlands – Commander Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS), General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, visited Camp Tapa where NATO’s Multinational Battlegroup Estonia and 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade Estonia are stationed.

After paying respects with a moment of silence to Rifleman Israel Delaminati, who recently lost his life in an accident in Tartu, Gen. Miglietta addressed a gathering of personnel from NATO Battlegroup Estonia. He expressed his satisfaction in how the six Battlegroups under his command, deployed on the Eastern Flank of the Alliance, are implementing decision from NATO’s very highest levels and setting the best conditions for the next summit in Vilnius.

You have proved during Exercise Spring Storm 2023 that you are capable of keeping NATO’s promise of security for all. The expansion from NATO Battlegroup into a capable brigade was extremely successful.

Our message goes to those who would threaten us. We are part of the greatest Alliance in the world, we will defend every inch of NATO territory,
