Brunssum, The Netherlands – On 31st October, Admiral Joachim Rühle, Chief of Staff of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), visited the Headquarters of NATO Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS) and Headquarters Joint Logistics Support Group Brunssum (HQ JLSGBS).

After a warm welcome by the Commander of JFC Brunssum, General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, Admiral Rühle was briefed on the ongoing transformation of JFCBS into a modern and agile operational-level Headquarters ready to conduct multi-domain operations.

The operational challenges JFCBS faces, particularly in light of the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine and the evolving security situation at NATO’s Eastern Flank, were also discussed.
