Brilliant Ride 24: A Great Opportunity for Lessons Learned

Staff from JFBS HQ attended a cross-HQ staff ride this week. This was to study historical details of the German Campaign in 1940 through the Lowlands and France with a perspective of learning from what happened in a modern military context.

All presentations were mentored by military historian Maj Gen (Retired) Mungo Melvin CB OBE, who brought all relevant elements to life. Brilliant Ride 24 allowed all participants to study contemporary topics linked to the historical context covering and discussing a wide-ranging series of key topics pertinent to JFC Brunssum being a NATO Warfighting HQ.
