Brunssum, The Netherlands – On September 9, 2024, General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, Commander of the Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS), welcomed Major General Andreas Korb, Commander of NATO’s Airborne Early Warning & Control Force. The visit focused on strengthening cooperation between the two commands and enhancing integration in various areas, including security and community relations.

In turn, General Korb underline that “We are looking forward to working with our neighbours at Joint Force Command Brunssum to promote our collaboration on a range of topics, especially in the area of Morale and Welfare Activities, to bring communities even closer together."
Security was also a key focus, with both leaders discussed the implementation of similar protection measures for personnel and families. They discussed improving collaboration with local authorities, standardizing access rules and protocols. Establishing unified security procedures aims to ensure a coordinated response to potential risks.
