Lieutenant General Toujouse, Commander French Land Forces Visits JFC Brunssum

Brunssum, The Netherlands – Commander French Land Forces (COM FT), Lieutenant General Toujouse, visited Headquarters Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS), on 18th Jan 2024.
As one of the founding nations of the Alliance, France has always played an integral role in NATO
Hosted by JFCBS Commander, General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, LTG Toujouse received a number of briefings and updates throughout the morning regarding the development of the Regional Plans and of JFCBS as a warfighting HQ, the training and exercises involving French forces, and the important French contribution to JFCBS. LTG Toujouse also introduced JFCBS leadership to the on-going transformation of French Army.
_nato4 “As one of the founding nations of the Alliance, France has always played an integral role in NATO” said General Miglietta “At this time unity is more important than ever to maintain security and deter aggression against NATO territory.”

After the briefing there was time for a tour of parts of JFCBS and the chance to meet with members of the French armed forces working within JFCBS.

“NATO’s strength comes not from one nation but from the Alliance of all our nations and partners” stated LTG Toujouse “NATO and France are evolving to meet the new challenges faced today, but our unity remains unchanged.”2-mUILO2
