Twenty-five ladies from the Ladies Limburg League visited the NATO headquarters of Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS) on Thursday, April 18. 

Chief of Staff JFCBS, French three-star, General Jean-Pierre Perrin, warmly welcomed the group. After the greeting, the guests received an information briefing about the mining history and JFCBS, a presentation by the Gender Advisor and the Dutch Senior National Representative, Colonel Bianca Jansen, in her role as Legal Advisor.  Finally, there was a short tour of the base, which is rich in mining and NATO history. 

The Ladies League Limburg is a network of and for (highly educated) women, of all ages, with different backgrounds and careers. Every month they organise an inspiring meeting at a beautiful location to catch up, network and listen to a speaker.

JFCBS is one of a total of three NATO headquarters that together are able to protect and defend NATO territory.
