Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe visits JFC Brunssum

Brunssum, The Netherlands – On Tuesday, 20 May 2025, Admiral Sir Keith Blount KCB OBE, the Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe (DSACEUR) paid a visit to HQ Joint Force Command Brunssum (JFCBS). Admiral Blount was welcomed by the Commander JFCBS, General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, and his senior staff.

During his stay at the HQ, DSACEUR received a number of briefings covering the array of activities JFCBS is currently engaged in, among which the brief on the Assessing Deterrence Project (ADP) played a pivotal role. ADP strives to develop tools to assess the effectiveness of deterrence measures the Alliance is undertaking to prevent any attack on NATO territory.

Admiral Blount thanked the General Miglietta and the whole HQ for this deep insight in the efforts JFCBS are undertaking in this field, and praised the degree of readiness this operational command has reached to date.
